these are some drawings from yesterday's life drawing session. the top ones are 30 seconds, then 1 minute, then 5 and 10. i took me a while to scan and arrange but i'll try to put them up as i do them.

gym comission
i was asked to design an extension for a high school to illustrate what the school would look like if they built a new sports center. i first drew some thumbnails to get the POV approved, scanned it and then painted over in photoshop. i had to change the angle a little so they could see the whole building and more of the existing school (which consist of the parts above and to the left of the new entrance). this won't be the final design of the extension but it will be used mainly for fund raising purposes.

ds
so i have noticed that there are many ds sketches posted here. it's just that there's not much effort envolved in producing them...you just turn on your ds and start. it's allowed me to be much more productive in general because sometimes just having to power on the pc and plug the wacom is alot to ask.
gestures
here are some life drawing gestures posted mainly because i have computer paper scattered all over the place and figured i should start scanning them and move on. meghan, this one's for you...i'll try and post these as i do them.
